THE HISTORY OF "UNIPLAS" BEGAN WITH THIS TYPEWRITER. It all started in single room inside an office building located in Tosabori,Nishi-ku,in the city of Osaka in the month of January,1961. Takao Ikushima, the current Chairman of "UNIPLAS CORPORATION", used this typewriter in order to initiate what he had intended to be an exporting business. This is where the aspects of a definite growth of Japanese commerce were beginning to make themselves apparent. The rising universal needs for Plastics machinery and related products were predictable,and the fingertips that struck the typewriter keys were to be entrusted with a dream and a vision of the future expansion of an enterprise.
